hey. i wrote a review of the static chain vol 2 cd and put it in the community section of this site under forum- all good positives, and I know performers are always looking for nice quotes about them, so feel free to quote and post wherever you'd like- you can quote it as coming from "Doc at UU Fallston Concerts"-also, i've been thinking more re. you guys headlining the 3/15 open mic- sometimes i've had co-headliners- I'd relaly like to have some celtic irish music as 1st act, but would you all consider being second headliner? i'd really like to get you guys up here too...let me know, mark

anyone whos ever been to New Orleans around this time of year knows that Mardi Gras starts way before fat tuesday! come start your celebration with us at a mardi gras themed open mic- bring a mardi gras song if you got one, or just any old party song will do, beacsue thats what mardi gras is all about! sign-up starts at 7pm, music starts at 7:30pm- as always, I stay until everyone who wants to paly has played- free admission but free will donations accepted for refreshments provided. kid friendly atmosphere. Static chain says they will be there, so I hope you are too! p.s stop by our benefit for local homeless shelter 1/26 if you get a chance..thanks, Mark

an open mic appropriate for the season! 12/1/07; please join us for a holiday open mic where local musicians will be invited to come and play their favorite holiday songs (from old standards to their own originals)- doors open at 7pm with sign-up; music to start at 7:30pm; kids are welcome to come and play/sing us a song as well. Since we are a unitarian church, we are open to songs about any holidays you are celebrating at this time of year. refreshments available- free admission but donations accepted

i know you said you couldn;t make it, but jsut want to kep you informed...I am making an effort to invite all the contestants in the cd contestants to come to the open mic 11/3 and play a few songs (at least the one you have entered in the contest-acoustic versions please!)- I am making an effort to also invite all the voting listners out as well so hopefully they can get a chance to hear some artists other than the ones they already know-hope you get a chance to make it out as I've never heard you live (so i'm betting some of the other voters haven't either)-post a response to me on the forum option (under community at the top of this websites page) take care, mark
